You deserve a coach who is still in the room.

Working actor. Career coach. Still auditioning at 44.

I've been on every side of this industry. As a student trained in environments that didn't always serve me. As a performer who had to unlearn a lot. And as a professor who watched those same patterns repeat from the inside. I left academia intentionally. I coach the way I wish I had been coached.

No toxic training culture. No single right answer. No "if you can imagine doing anything else, do that." Just honest, current, practical support from someone who knows what it costs and is still doing it at 44.

A coach who has been on every side of the table

I am not theorizing about an industry I left. I am in it right now, navigating the same uncertainty my clients face. That is not a talking point. That is my edge.

Who I work with

High school seniors preparing for college audition season and navigating early college years.

Recent graduates entering the professional world without a clear business framework.

Performers in their 30s balancing a career in musical theatre with real life.

Older performers re-entering, expanding, or getting clear on what they actually want next.

The common thread isn't age or career stage. It's willingness.

What clients say

Sukha Yang, musical theatre performer, received 5 college acceptances after working with Ashlee Lynn Espinosa

"I met Ashlee after receiving zero acceptances to any MT programs. With her guidance, I received 5 acceptances into well-renowned programs. She never spoon-fed me — she has an amazing ability to bring out your own interpretation through the questions she asks."

Sukha Yang — College audition prep

"Ashlee's coaching and guidance were invaluable in helping me land the role of Sam on Royal Caribbean's production of Mamma Mia. Her expertise and support made a significant impact on my audition process. I'm grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their craft."

Jerrod Cate — Booked Royal Caribbean's Mamma Mia

"After college, I had a hard time finding where I belonged because I felt alone and scared to have a niche. Ashlee helped me find a clear lane to work in — not to get rid of my range, but to market myself professionally and confidently. She asks you the questions you forget to ask yourself."

Maddie Cook — Post-college clarity and finding her lane

Why clients call these sessions therapy for actors.

I've been a professional performer for over two decades with a BM and MFA in Musical Theatre, a university professor for nearly ten years, and I'm actively auditioning and booking right now across musicals, plays, films, verticals, commercials, and industrials. That combination is rare, and it matters. When you work with me you're not getting advice from someone who used to be in the industry. You're getting perspective from someone who just got a callback last week.

I give homework. Most coaches don't. That's the difference between a good conversation and actual progress.
